About Us

The Hobart Educational Foundation is proud to support the educators, students, and families in the School City of Hobart.  In just over 20 years, the Foundation has awarded over $322,000 in classroom grants, scholarships, and program support.  These include projects that focus on literacy development, enhancement of the outdoor science learning center, space exploration through the Challenge Learning Center, STEM environmental studies, and leadership/mentor programs such as Brickie Leaders. We continue to be an integral sponsor of Building Brickies, which helped to put a parent educator at every school for parents of children from birth to kindergarten.
